Welcome to the International Business Internship Site!

This is an academic program offered for international business course units. Purpose: to encourage I.B. students to develop career goals and apply classroom knowledge to gain career skills for the global workplace. There are 100+ internship opportunities available for students registered in IB 495 and also I.B. Society members!

Getting an Add Code:

To enroll in IB 495, you MUST attend one mandatory Orientation Meeting in the I.B. Office, offered once per month during Fall & spring semesters. You may add any Fall or Spring semester- the class is not offered in the summer but you should see Prof. Adler if you want to start a summer internship.

FALL 2012 Add Codes will be issued to students who attend orientation meetings in the first 2 weeks of Fall, OR students who have attended a previous meeting. (See Times on the right side of this page.) After attending, bring Forms #1 and #2 completed to Prof. Adler in AL-208 (All Forms are in the IB 495 Complete Guide to Internships under Dr. Adler's name, available ONLY at KB Bookstore.)

Current Students:

FINAL REPORTS & Supervisor's LETTERS ARE DUE WEDNESDAY, MAY 16TH for students who need a grade of CR by May 2012. You may always leave materials in AL-208, or fax one-page forms Attn: Prof. Adler, (619)594-7738 or email to ibintern@rohan.sdsu.edu. PLEASE DO NOT FAX REPORTS!! Students without complete records have a grade of "Incomplete" until all materials are submitted.

August Grads: All final materials are due Wednesday, August 15 for an August diploma.
